Highlights of the Tour
01: Arrive Kozhikode (Calicut)
Upon arrival our representative would meet & assist you at the airport and to our hotel for check-in. Post lunch, visit the Thali Temple, Pazhassirajah Museum Lokanarkavu Temple, Kappad and Kozhikode beach. Overnight in Kozhikode.
02: Kozhikode - Wayanad (175 Kms-3 Hrs)
On the 2nd day of Kerala Heritage travel you visit the Beypore, the oldest port in Kerala famous for its big wood market and traditional wooden ship making industry. Thereupon, start to move towards Wayanad. Enjoy a quick drive to the magnificent Soochipara Waterfalls. After a leisure day you can enjoy the evening after a delightful dinner.
03: Wayanad
In the morning, after breakfast visit the Kuruva Island. After lunch you visit the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. Otherwise you can visit the pre-historic Edakkal caves perched on hillock. Overnight stay is in Wayanad.
04: Wayanad - Thrissur (211 Kms-04 Hrs)
In the morning after breakfast you will be driven to Thrissur, where you will get to visit the famed Kalamandalam Dance and Music Academy and the local villages and temples of Thrissur. After dinner stay overnight at the Thrissur hotel.
05: Thrissur - Guruvayoor - Periyar (212 Kms-04 Hrs)
After breakfast and we transfer you to Periyar via Guruvayoor to explore its ancient temples.
06: Periyar - Kottayam (114 Kms-02 Hrs)
On the 6th day of your Kerala tour, after breakfast in the morning, you will proceed for a drive to Kottayam. On arrival, our representative will receive you with a fabulous traditional welcome and soon transfer you to your hotels in Kerala. Rest of the day free for leisure activities or you can enjoy the ultimate experience of Traditional Ayurvedic therapies at the resort. Overnight stay after dinner.
07: Kottayam - Alapuzzha (Alleppey)
Your Kerala backwater tour will be rewarded today as you experience backwater cruise. After breakfast, you will be driven to Alapuzzha. On arrival, stop at the resort for lunch. After a hearty lunch proceed towards your overnight stay in the houseboat.
08: Alapuzzha - Kovalam Beach (151 Kms-03 Hrs)
In the morning of your Kerala tour, after breakfast, check out the houseboat as it reaches Alleppey, from here our representative will drive you to Kovalam beach town. On arrival you halt at a beach resort. For the next entire day relax and laze around on the beautiful beaches of Kovalam.
09: Kovalam - Thiruvananthapuram - Departure (15 Kms-30 Minutes)
Your blissful Kerala holidays comes to an end and its time to leave but definitely with a desire to return. GHIJ representative will escort to the Airport for your flight back home.
